Role Overview

Exciting transformations are underway at Foodies to modernize our people systems and simplify processes, enabling our teams across stores, Distribution Centres, and our Support Centre to focus more on customer service. We are looking for a highly skilled Learning Transformation Lead to guide our digital learning content strategy aligned with our 2030 strategic priorities and multiple ongoing initiatives.

In this role, you will quickly assess our operational environment and current challenges, identifying innovative digital content design and deployment solutions tailored across various parts of our Co-op. Your extensive experience in Learning & Development, particularly in digital content strategy, will be vital in balancing consistency and practical applicability across diverse business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive a comprehensive strategy and plan for a large-scale learning content transformation initiative to accelerate capability development and reduce time to proficiency.
  • Utilize emerging technologies suitable for our environment to support achieving our learning transformation goals.
  • Work collaboratively with business process owners, learning teams, and trainers to ensure effective delivery of the right learning, at the right time.
  • Manage and coordinate external providers and contractors to aid in transforming learning content.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on digital and on-the-job learning approaches to continually build sustainable capabilities within the Co-op.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven leadership in designing and implementing learning transformation projects at scale within large organizations.
  • Strong instructional design capabilities, supported by experience or qualifications in Adult Learning.
  • Experience managing teams or subcontracted project resources with clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, building strong relationships and recognized expertise in learning transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with learning teams and business stakeholders while understanding the complexities of the Co-op’s store environments.
  • Capable of delivering high-quality outcomes flexibly, adapting to changing needs and incoming requests.
  • Enjoy addressing complex challenges and working in less structured environments with solid problem-solving aptitude.
