Role Overview

As a Lean Improvement Specialist, you will lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize urban distribution and terminal operations. You will be responsible for route optimization to minimize delivery times and costs, managing site resources effectively, planning facility layouts, and boosting workforce productivity. Additionally, you will conduct data-driven analyses of terminal key performance indicators (KPIs), identify root causes of operational issues, and implement on-site improvements in cooperation with terminal managers to standardize best practices using Lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement projects based on Lean Six Sigma to enhance urban distribution and terminal operations.
  • Analyze and optimize delivery routes to cut down transit durations and reduce operational expenses.
  • Strategically allocate site resources, execute capacity planning, and manage facility layout designs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise individual workforce productivity and maintain stable courier attendance.
  • Regularly monitor terminal KPIs, carry out root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions onsite.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with terminal managers to embed standardized Lean practices.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in express delivery, instant delivery services, or urban distribution sectors.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies applied within logistics contexts.
  • Skilled in advanced data analytics, layout planning, and managing organizational change with strong communication abilities.
  • Experience with route management and resource allocation is essential. Background in logistics or express delivery industries is highly advantageous.
