Job description

About Grab and Our Workplace

Grab is Southeast Asia's premier superapp, offering services ranging from food delivery to financial management and transportation. Our mission is to drive regional progress through technology and AI, empowering everyone economically with dedication and values rooted in heart, hunger, honor, and humility.

About the Role

The GrabMart Fulfilment team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless movement of millions of orders between merchants and customers across Southeast Asia. This includes overcoming complex challenges such as handling larger order sizes, scheduling planned delivery windows, managing long delivery routes, and coordinating among merchants, drivers, fleet providers, and customers. Your efforts will directly enhance the reliability and efficiency of the GrabMart experience, scaling and improving offerings regionally.

In the role of Lead Product Manager, you will own the strategy and roadmap for the reliable, efficient, and scalable fulfilment of GrabMart orders. You will navigate complex areas such as service level agreements, fleet utilisation, dispatch processes, and end-to-end operational coordination from when orders are ready to successful delivery. Collaboration with internal teams—including Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Supply Chain—country stakeholders, and external partners is essential to identifying opportunities, testing pilots, and expanding successful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for GrabMart Fulfilment, translating long-term objectives into actionable goals and milestones.
  • Enhance reliability and efficiency throughout the fulfilment cycle, from pricing and estimated time arrivals to driver handovers and issue resolution.
  • Innovate and validate fulfilment models that support larger order volumes, extended delivery distances, planned delivery schedules, and adapt to evolving customer expectations.
  • Balance the priorities and needs of diverse stakeholders by leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and prioritise minimum lovable product releases.
  • Conduct user research and analyze data to understand the pain points and requirements of customers, merchants, driver partners, fleet partners, and operations teams.
  • Evaluate product decisions through the lens of customer satisfaction, delivery dependability, operational scalability, partner experiences, and sustainable economics.
  • Lead product discovery, experimentation, and pilot initiatives with clearly defined success metrics, utilizing insights to determine iterative improvements or scaling opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and product strategies to cross-functional audiences to drive consensus and action.
  • Leverage AI and large language models to enhance product discovery, decision-making processes, and operational workflows.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 8 years of product management experience in technology environments, preferably focusing on marketplace, logistics, or platform products.
  • An ownership mindset with the ability to conceptualize grand visions and break them down into practical, incremental releases.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude capable of managing ambiguity and rapid growth challenges.
  • Customer-centric approach with a demonstrated history of translating user insights into precise product requirements.
  • Proven expertise in product strategy development, roadmapping, lifecycle management, and impact measurement.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical discussions on marketplace systems, optimization, data integration, and operational tools, with clear communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis, able to apply quantitative and qualitative methods to guide product decisions and trade-offs.
  • Experienced at managing and influencing diverse stakeholders across regions and teams without direct authority.
  • Systems thinker with the ability to approach design from first principles, ensuring scalability, reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Familiar with applying AI technologies practically within product development and design contexts.
