Role Overview

This position is an excellent gateway for newly graduated IT professionals aiming to gain practical experience. The Junior IT Field Technician will collaborate closely with seasoned engineers to acquire technical proficiency while supporting diverse client infrastructures and environments across Toowoomba.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure computers, laptops, and IT hardware within the workshop.
• Install computers, printers, and networking devices at customer premises.
• Provide assistance during hardware rollouts, upgrades, and office relocations.
• Diagnose and resolve basic issues related to hardware and connectivity.
• Learn and enhance technical skills under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Offer courteous and professional customer service.
• Keep accurate records and documentation for each service task.
• Adhere to industry best practices for IT and security during all installations.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware components, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong enthusiasm for technology and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Effective communication capabilities and customer service orientation.
• Positive mindset with a collaborative spirit to work well within a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Hold a current Australian driver's license (mandatory).
