Role Overview
The Junior Financial Analyst position is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in New York, NY. The role primarily supports the finance team through preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial documents related to the property portfolio. Daily tasks include collecting and validating financial information, updating forecasting models, assisting with budgeting and financial planning, and analyzing discrepancies between actual and budget figures. This position requires close collaboration with senior analysts and property management personnel to offer insights on property financial performance, prepare reports for internal stakeholders, and maintain organized documentation for audits and reviews. Use of spreadsheets and financial software is essential to monitor key performance indicators and aid in ongoing process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret quantitative data supporting financial decisions.
- Fundamental understanding of finance principles and practical experience with financial statements and reporting.
- Preferred experience in financial planning tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis.

Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage of $17. The estimated first-year salary ranges between $40,000 and $50,000, reflecting full-time employment.
