Job Description

The company is currently seeking individuals for part-time or full-time janitorial roles, offering an hourly wage of $10 with weekly payment. The Janitor is responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas inside buildings or across multiple client locations. Tasks vary depending on client demands and require flexibility to meet these specifications effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean various floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment following safety procedures to prevent damage
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Dispose of trash appropriately, including use of compactors when necessary
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaning agents and tools
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing
• Replenish paper goods and sanitary supplies
• Adhere to established housekeeping schedules
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery occasionally, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet work scope or customer requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent or minimum six months of janitorial experience
• Willingness to receive on-the-job training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services
• Knowledge of custodial techniques and commercial cleaning standards
• Understanding of floor care including buffing and waxing
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
