About The Team

The Associate Specialist, Desktop Systems is responsible for supporting day-to-day end-user computing by maintaining workstations, peripherals, and standard software. This position handles routine technical issues and fulfils clear service requests under supervision, focusing on dependable and high-quality desktop assistance to enable Zillow employees to work efficiently and securely.

About The Role

• Address and resolve typical desktop support queries relating to hardware, operating systems, and standard applications, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Set up, deploy, and retire laptops, desktops, and peripherals adhering to established procedures for imaging, configuration, and security.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting for network connections, printing, and account access issues, ensuring all actions and results are logged within the ticketing system.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as software installation, updates, and simple device diagnostics according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep accurate records of asset and configuration details to assist with inventory management and device lifecycle tracking.

This position is classified as remote, allowing employees to work from a chosen physical location. Employees based in the U.S. can reside in any of the 50 states, with some restrictions.

Along with a competitive base salary, this role includes eligibility for incentive-based compensation, contingent on experience, performance, and location.

Who You Are

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Have between zero to two years of experience in desktop support, end-user computing, or related technical support roles, or equivalent educational and experiential background.
