Role Overview
The IT Support Engineer for NAVIS SPARCS N4 will be positioned full-time onsite in Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar. This role entails providing daily technical assistance specific to NAVIS SPARCS N4 systems, overseeing application performance, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and addressing help desk inquiries related to terminal operating environments. Responsibilities include system administration tasks such as configuration adjustments, managing user access, and implementing updates or patches to enhance system reliability and security. The engineer will maintain detailed incident documentation, contribute to process optimizations, and coordinate with operational and engineering teams to ensure systems meet organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in technical and help desk support, resolving user and system issues promptly.
- Comprehensive experience in IT and system administration within enterprise or operational settings.
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities involving hardware, software, networking, and critical system applications.
- Familiarity with NAVIS SPARCS N4 or equivalent terminal operating systems is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Knowledgeable in database management, server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux, and fundamental networking principles.
- Strong analytical aptitude and capability to document and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work onsite in Al Khor and Al Thakhira with flexibility for shifts or extended hours and operate well within multi-cultural teams.
