Role Overview and Responsibilities

This Implementation Manager plays an essential part of the Implementation team, primarily responsible for managing and facilitating the onboarding of leading physicians into Privia’s high-performance network. This role acts as the main liaison, project coordinator, and trainer during practice launches, ensuring smooth integration of providers into the medical group.

  • Collaborate closely with providers to onboard them into Privia Medical Group.
  • Lead project management, training sessions, and support efforts for physician practices during implementation of electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management/billing systems.
  • Establish strategies that support long-term success, including optimizing cost efficiency and population health initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities between provider practices and internal Privia teams such as Finance, IT, Revenue Cycle, and Credentialing, utilizing project management methodologies and tools.
  • Provide training to physicians, clinical providers, and office personnel on Privia’s processes, technologies, and electronic health record systems.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, regularly updating both clients and internal management on progress.
  • Handle multiple project implementations concurrently.
  • Identify and participate in both market-specific and national initiatives aimed at enhancing workflows and operations for care centers and internal teams.
  • Support the expansion of strategic business units including ancillary services and other Privia service lines as needed.
  • Effectively manage change and set clear client expectations.
  • Develop aggressive timelines, address critical project path issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Be prepared for extensive travel (approximately 70%) including overnight stays to serve markets in VA, MD, DC, and CT and new expansion areas.
  • Mentor other team members on the Implementation team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 annually in base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and pet insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and wellness programs. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% of base pay, plus Restricted Stock Units. The exact base salary will depend on experience, education, and geographic location.
