Role Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner position is a full-time remote role dedicated to assisting leaders and employees across the company with HR-related concerns. Partnering closely with management, this role focuses on understanding business aims, offering counsel on HR policies, and ensuring equitable and consistent workplace practices. Daily activities include advising on employee relations matters, facilitating performance management processes, and aiding leaders in navigating labor and employment regulations. Additionally, this role supports the creation and execution of people strategies such as employee engagement programs, talent development initiatives, and change management efforts. Maintaining accurate HR records, collaborating across departments, and analyzing data to enhance HR processes and employee experience are also key duties.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Human Resources practices and effective application of HR policies.
- Experience handling Employee Relations including conflict resolution, coaching, and conducting workplace investigations.
- Familiarity with labor and employment laws relevant to remote and distributed teams.
- Proficiency in performance management systems, including goal setting, feedback delivery, and development planning.
- Exceptional communication, consulting, and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting, effectively prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable HR advisory role; familiarity with technology or startup environments is advantageous.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related discipline; professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
