Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex involves managing employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, and leave plans while ensuring legal and policy compliance. Key duties include processing benefit enrollments and modifications, addressing employee questions, liaising with vendors, and maintaining accurate benefit records. The role supports the development and revision of benefits policies, assists with open enrollment events, and prepares reports analyzing benefits usage and costs. Collaboration with HR colleagues and department managers is essential for advising on benefits matters and supporting broader HR initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Human Resources management and capable of coordinating with organizational stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in HR policies to interpret and uphold compliance and equity within benefits and HR frameworks.
- Experienced in communicating employee benefits options, eligibility, and coverage details to staff and management.
- Skilled in benefits administration, including enrollment processing, claims management, and vendor coordination.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with organizational skills and familiarity with HRIS and Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective at both verbal and written communication across diverse employee groups.
- Experience in public sector or large, multi-location organizations is desirable.
- Holds an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields, or equivalent education and experience; professional HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are advantageous.
