Role Overview

The HR Technology Manager will design, implement, and optimize the HR technology platforms at Inizio, aligning these systems with the broader HR and organizational strategies. Acting as the key liaison between HR and IT, this role involves leading HR engagement, managing system delivery and operations, and ensuring scalable, compliant, and data-driven people processes. The role includes full ownership of the Workday platform (core HCM and modules) and oversight of complementary HR systems such as talent acquisition, learning management, benefits administration, and HR master data solutions. The Workday IT Operations team reports directly to this manager. Reporting line is to the Deputy Chief Information Officer. Flexible work arrangements, including remote, onsite, or hybrid options, are supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leadership to translate business strategies into a comprehensive HR technology roadmap.
• Lead formal engagements with HR stakeholders to govern HR technology initiatives.
• Advise on HR tech trends, system functionalities, and industry best practices to support workforce strategies and transformation.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of HR software projects, overseeing design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases.
• Ensure all solutions comply with architectural, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Direct delivery teams and external vendors to complete complex multi-platform HR projects within set timelines and scope.
• Steer the Workday platform through roadmap planning, release management, system configuration, integrations, and ongoing enhancements.
• Supervise the Workday operations team to maintain high system availability, data integrity, and user support.
• Mentor the operations team to expand their capabilities and encourage collaboration with IT and HR departments.
• Act as the senior escalation point for all Workday-related issues and decision-making.
• Implement governance frameworks for HR technology investment decisions, change management, and data stewardship.
• Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships, including contractual and commercial oversight.
• Ensure all HR systems comply with regulatory, audit, data privacy, and security standards across regions.
• Lead and develop HR technology and Workday teams fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain visibility as a reliable technology leader within IT and the wider organization.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced leader in HR technology within complex enterprise environments.
• Proficient with Workday HCM, including operational management and large-scale implementation.
• Ability to convert strategic HR priorities into effective technology solutions.
• Expertise managing integrated HR systems beyond core HCM.
• Track record of leading diverse teams and managing third-party vendors effectively.
