Role Overview

The HR Projects Manager will lead pivotal projects enhancing HR operations, growth, and team support. This fast-paced position suits individuals who are inquisitive, adept at solving complex issues spanning people, processes, and data, and who can collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners, Corporate Business Operations, and leadership to implement projects that optimize efficiency and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and implementation of HR initiatives across various functions, locations, and departments.
• Engage with HR Business Partners and senior business leaders to identify challenges and opportunities for enhancing tools, processes, and programs; support their projects as needed.
• Manage projects end-to-end by setting objectives, crafting timelines, monitoring milestones, and maintaining communication flow.
• Leverage data analytics to establish success criteria, track progress, and guide recommendations.
• Collaborate with the HR Data team to extract and analyze trends that assist in strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to creating scalable, consistent HR processes aligned with SpaceX’s priorities.
• Assist organizational change initiatives such as restructures, realignments, and transformative efforts.
• Ensure all projects maintain alignment with company culture, strategic goals, and compliance regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of four years' experience in HR or program management.
• At least six years of experience overseeing complex, cross-functional HR projects involving systems, processes, or policies (e.g., performance management, onboarding, compliance).

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Ability to handle multiple intricate projects concurrently.
• Effective collaborator with strong influencing and communication skills, including with senior leadership.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data tools like Workday, Tableau, and Excel.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing HR programs or processes supporting business growth or transformation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, capable of simplifying complex ideas.
• Adaptability to fast-changing environments and priorities.
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Project management credentials (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, SQL, Power Automate) are advantageous.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 10%, depending on project needs.
• Availability to work extended hours or weekends as required.
• Capability to pass an Air Force background check, as the role is based at Cape Canaveral.
• This is strictly an onsite position in Cape Canaveral, Florida; remote work will not be offered.
