Role Overview

Vinarchy is seeking a confident and engaging HR Advisor to support leaders and employees within the Supply Chain and Operations divisions. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will offer practical HR guidance throughout the employee lifecycle to promote a safe, respectful, and high-performing workplace. This onsite position is based in Rowland Flat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and practical advice in areas including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, wellbeing, and offboarding.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee relations, managing routine to moderately complex cases.
  • Assist with the interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and company policies.
  • Support leaders through performance management processes, improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
  • Help with employee grievances, conduct investigations, maintain documentation, and liaise with unions and external consultants.
  • Contribute to annual performance review cycles, capability-building initiatives, and manager training programs.
  • Participate in organizational change projects, restructures, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure robust HR governance, documentation accuracy, and continuous process enhancements.
  • Advocate for workplace safety, employee wellbeing, and responsible business practices.

Collaboration

The role involves close partnership with managers, employees in Supply Chain and Operations, the Senior HR Manager, the wider People & Communications team, and Health, Safety & Sustainability stakeholders. Interaction with unions, external advisors, regulators, and industry associations will also be required.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of three years' experience working as an HR Advisor.
  • Excellent relationship-building aptitude, adopting a collaborative and customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong judgement and professionalism with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current HR and employee relations practices, including familiarity with Enterprise Agreements and employment law.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and readiness to travel between different company locations and vineyards.
