Housekeeper

Overview

At Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi, we are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across all company facilities, including the Executive building. This role involves comprehensive janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash receptacles, and cleaning restrooms, offices, and conference rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning duties throughout all BCBSMS buildings to ensure a sanitary and presentable environment.
• Handle vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and cleaning of workspaces and meeting areas.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in janitorial work, ideally within a corporate environment.
• Possession of a valid Mississippi driver’s license.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to confidentiality and company policies.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical capability to climb stairs as needed.
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Experience operating carpet cleaning machinery.
