Role Overview

The Housekeeper role entails ensuring immaculate cleanliness and presentation of holiday lets and occasionally rental properties. The successful candidate will manage daily cleaning duties, maintain adequate cleaning supplies, and uphold high guest satisfaction by delivering pristine accommodations.

Primary Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness of holiday lets to exceptional standards ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
• Assist with cleaning duties for other rental properties as needed
• Perform sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, dusting, and mopping throughout accommodations
• Change and prepare beds
• Handle laundry operations including washing, drying, and documenting quantities
• Thoroughly clean welfare areas such as toilets and kitchens
• Monitor, count, and report inventory levels of cleaning materials for timely restocking
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning supplies and maintain an orderly, hygienic workspace
• Complete additional reasonable tasks supporting the leisure offerings

Work Schedule

• Mandatory workdays: Monday and Friday
• Additional weekday hours may be necessary for covering absences or increased workload
• Occasional overtime opportunities available

Candidate Requirements

• Strong proactive approach with adherence to health and safety policies including COSHH, manual handling, and working at heights
• Prior professional cleaning experience
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Excellent organisational skills and efficient time management
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of work tasks
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Professional, courteous demeanor
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to work demands
• Valid full driving licence required due to travel needs
