About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver based in Redhill, England. This role involves delivering groceries to customers, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining food quality. The position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and a variety of benefits including a 15% staff discount, optional healthcare plans, and at least 28 days of holiday annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper procedures for safe loading of the delivery van, including managing manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Adopt and maintain safe driving habits during all deliveries.
• Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and after trips.
• Ensure groceries are delivered in optimal condition to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service, being the direct representative of the company.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Be flexible to work various shifts between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Maintain strong awareness and adherence to road safety guidelines.
