Overview of Responsibilities

Take charge of leading technical divisions including Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Technology, ensuring optimal quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and staff development while encouraging cross-department collaboration.

Develop and implement the site's technical strategy, working closely alongside company leadership to address strategic, organizational, and technological challenges and promote sustainable future initiatives.

Ensure safe, compliant, and economical operation of all technical facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, maintaining adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards related to technology, environment, and occupational safety.

Oversee investment and project management by designing, planning, budgeting, and successfully executing investment, automation, infrastructure, and optimization projects while managing timelines, costs, quality, and coordinating internal and external resources.

Drive continuous improvement efforts and operational excellence by applying Lean Management, TPM, Operational Excellence, and KVP methodologies to identify and implement sustainable enhancements in processes, production systems, and organizational structures.

Maintain and develop technical standards, documentation, operational instructions, process specifications, assembly manuals, bills of materials, work plans, and production-related master data, ensuring accuracy and currency.

Manage occupational safety, risk assessment, and compliance by conducting hazard analyses, operational directives, and technical risk evaluations, collaborating closely with hazardous materials, waste, and incident officers to guarantee regulatory compliance in all relevant processes.

Candidate Profile

A technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Technology, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is essential.

Extensive leadership experience in a technical managerial role within an industrial production environment is required, with solid expertise in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, Production Technology, Operational Excellence, and Plant Management. Familiarity with regulatory-approved plants and related standards on environment, occupational, and plant safety is highly valued. Proven success in steering investment, change, and optimization projects and leading interdisciplinary teams is expected.

Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, KVP, and modern production and maintenance systems is vital, complemented by knowledge in investment management, budget control, and leading major technical projects.

Strong strategic, analytical, and business-oriented thinking accompanied by leadership, communication skills, and assertiveness to unite stakeholders, manage change effectively, inspire teams towards shared objectives, and take decisive responsibility for sustainable outcomes.

Fluent command of German and English, both orally and in writing, suitable for an international corporate environment, is essential.
