Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Guest Attendant, your keen attention to detail and exceptional cleaning expertise will help create inviting and comfortable guest rooms. You'll contribute directly to memorable guest experiences by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms including dusting, bed making, removing used linens, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, window cleaning inside rooms, and restocking supplies.
- Enhance the guest experience through personalized touches.
- Protect guest privacy and possessions while delivering excellent service.
- Manage daily signing in and out of master keys.
- Utilize cleaning materials and equipment responsibly and effectively.
- Document updated status for all cleaned rooms.
- Handle lost and found items appropriately and submit them to the Housekeeping Office with proper tags.
- Report any maintenance issues encountered.
- Perform other duties related to housekeeping as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Proactive approach to anticipating guest needs while maintaining professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.
Physical Demands
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Regular lifting and carrying of items weighing over 40 pounds.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting activities.
