Graphic Designer

About the Role

Join an established international product business specializing in fragrance and hygiene products distributed in over 90 countries. Following two acquisitions scheduled for 2025, the company's product range is expanding. The Product Development team is seeking a dedicated designer to ensure precision, consistency, and structure in transitioning products into global production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop product and regulatory labels.
• Create packaging and carton artwork.
• Prepare instruction manuals and technical leaflets.
• Generate product renders and print-ready assets.
• Produce production guides for manufacturing partners.
• Update product specifications and artwork as required.

This role is focused on production-centered design, ensuring every detail such as colors, codes, barcodes, pictograms, and measurements are accurate and reliable. Your work will serve as the definitive source for suppliers manufacturing, labeling, and packaging products worldwide. Note that this position does not involve campaign, social media, or advertising design.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience with print, packaging, labels, manuals, or technical document design.
• Skilled in preparing precise, print-ready artwork.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills including excellent version control.
• Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Collaborative and reliable team player.

Previous familiarity with regulatory or CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) standards is advantageous but not mandatory. The company welcomes applications from both seasoned artwork professionals and earlier-career designers who exhibit strong Adobe skills, a robust portfolio, and eagerness to learn.

Location and Working Pattern

• Based in Basingstoke, England, United Kingdom.
• Work schedule: initial probation period onsite; afterwards, three days onsite, two days remote weekly.
