As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you will play a critical role in maintaining these standards by ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Role Overview

This part-time role involves working 20 hours per week, where your attention to detail and teamwork will contribute directly to keeping the gym’s floors, equipment, changing facilities, and communal areas immaculate, safe, and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all gym areas including studios, fitness spaces, showers, and communal zones.
• Sanitize surfaces, gym equipment, and high-touch points to uphold hygiene standards.
• Execute scheduled daily cleaning tasks and compliance checks.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying bins responsibly.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate supply needs.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or hygiene issues promptly to management.
• Collaborate with the club team to enhance the overall member experience.
• Maintain consistent cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards.

Desirable but not essential attributes include previous cleaning or housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe chemical usage, and experience in leisure or retail environments.
