Role Overview

As a Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, you will specialize in transforming intricate data and narratives into captivating visual stories through clear, engaging, and premium-quality presentations. This part-time remote role demands proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to produce polished slides and one-pagers that adhere to a refined corporate-creative aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

• Create strategic pitch decks and professional one-pagers customized for varied audiences.
• Interpret complex datasets by employing minimalist and precise visual hierarchies to enhance storytelling.
• Enhance presentations with tailored typography, smooth animations, and maintain flawless visual consistency.
• Maintain a high standard of visual quality through thorough checks on alignment, pacing, and brand consistency before finalizing deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in graphic design, presentation creation, visual storytelling, or data visualization is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or similar creative disciplines considered advantageous.
• A comprehensive portfolio showcasing sophisticated presentations, pitch decks, and data visualizations beyond basic templates is essential.
• Deep understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and information design with a detail-focused and methodical work style.

Technical Expertise Required

• Mastery of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote in crafting dynamic, intricate, and perfectly animated decks.
• Advanced skills using design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Proficiency in converting complex hierarchical data into straightforward and minimalist visual stories.
• Expertise in typography with a focus on custom fonts and creating elegant, seamless animations for professional outcomes.

Additional Criteria

• Proven experience in producing elite layouts that blend corporate professionalism with creative flair.
• Exceptional attention to detail and uncompromising standards of visual excellence.
• Capacity for self-motivated work and ability to independently resolve design-related challenges.
• English language skills at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher are mandatory.

Project Workflow and Compensation

The workload fluctuates, requiring approximately 10-20 hours weekly during project-active periods, which is an estimate rather than a fixed guarantee. Compensation can reach up to $50 per hour equivalent, varying according to expertise level and project demands. Rates differ across projects based on scope and complexity.
