Role overview

The florist will help prepare, arrange, and complete everyday flower orders while learning and following Floward’s design and quality standards. This is a practical, hands-on position focused on reproducing floral designs accurately, caring for flowers properly, and supporting event installations.

Core duties

• Create bouquets and floral arrangements based on Floward’s specifications.
• Ensure each design is reproduced consistently and with close attention to detail.
• Keep flowers fresh through correct handling and storage practices.
• Help monitor stock levels and flag any damaged or unusable flowers.
• Support senior florists with large-volume orders, off-site events, and promotional work.
• Assist with setting up and taking down floral displays for corporate or marketing functions.

Growth and development

• Develop floral design techniques with guidance from senior team members.
• Build knowledge of seasonal flowers and current market trends.

Experience and qualifications

• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in floral design or a similar area.
• Working knowledge of flower care and proper handling methods.
• Strong creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working flexible hours and helping with event setups.
