Finishing Project Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Finishing Project Engineer to become a vital part of our energetic team. This role focuses on managing and coordinating the finishing phase of high-rise building projects, requiring a technical expertise, effective communication, and a history of on-time and budget-compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating detailed project schedules and allocating resources specifically for the finishing works.
• Supervising site operations to ensure compliance with project plans, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Working closely with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and other involved parties to ensure smooth and efficient finishing operations.
• Executing comprehensive quality assurance and control measures to uphold superior craftsmanship and material standards.
• Identifying risks during the finishing phase and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Monitoring project progression, tracking key metrics, and preparing frequent updates for management oversight.
• Managing change orders, ensuring any modifications align with broader project goals and financial limits.
• Upholding strict safety measures and ensuring all work adheres to local building regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• At least eight years of relevant experience, ideally in construction of high-rise structures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of structural engineering concepts and construction practices.
• Strong familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Competency in using project management software and relevant tools.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while meeting urgent deadlines.
