Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle the following duties:
- Ensure accurate accounting in compliance with Chilean accounting and tax laws, including SII regulations, payroll, and mandatory reports.
- Prepare the conversion from local accounting to IFRS standards by creating adjustments, account reconciliations, note preparations, and assisting with the accounting close process.
- Generate and maintain management reports such as Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.
- Manage expense budgeting by collecting requests, preparing budgets, and controlling execution.
- Analyze plan-versus-actual deviations by preparing reports, identifying root causes, and offering recommendations.
- Plan payment schedules, monitor liquidity, and interact with banking institutions.
- Coordinate with local accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Support the executive team with financial analysis and decision-making assistance.
Educational and Professional Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
- Additional certification or training in IFRS, managerial accounting, or financial analysis is appreciated.
- Three to five years of experience in finance, management control, or accounting.
- Proven experience with Chilean accounting and tax regulations.
- Experience in converting financial statements to IFRS is a significant advantage.
- Experience with budgeting, plan-versus-actual analysis, and financial modeling is favorable.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong proficiency with local accounting software or ERP systems, such as Softland or Defontana, is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling.
- Good understanding of IFRS principles.
- Ability to structure and analyze financial information effectively.
- Capability to work independently and develop processes from the ground up.

Languages
