Role Overview
This position focuses on FileMaker development along with RDBMS support and integration work. The role also involves design-related responsibilities, team coordination, and continuous improvement of delivery quality.
Responsibilities
- Guide and coordinate a team of UI/UX designers so design outputs are delivered on schedule and meet quality expectations.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into practical design solutions that support business objectives.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts that clearly communicate the intended user experience.
- Run user research and usability checks, then use the feedback to refine and improve design work.
- Keep track of current design trends and industry standards to strengthen both the process and the final output.
- Mentor junior designers and support their professional development.
Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Claris FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server.
- Ability to handle layout design, including UI/UX-focused work.
- Experience writing and maintaining scripts.
- Working knowledge of relational database design and modeling.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with ODBC and JDBC connectivity.
- Capability to work with JSON and XML data formats.
- Sound understanding of RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience in production support, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Exposure to deployment and release management.
- Ability to handle server setup, configuration, and administration.
