Job Overview
As a Field Inventory Technician, your role involves traveling to designated accounts to assess inventory stock, ensuring appropriate product quantities for timely delivery and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Maintain daily reports and analyze product inventory levels on-site.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with both current and prospective customers by sourcing and upselling products.
- Support sales initiatives and account maintenance activities on a daily basis.
- Conduct actual inventory counts and coordinate closely with warehouse staff.
- Process, review, and approve orders to facilitate e-commerce operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with electrical, construction, or mechanical products; 2 years preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience resolving technical, equipment, or service-related challenges; 2 years preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential.
- Basic computer proficiency is advantageous.
- Strong foundational problem-solving capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay rate ranges from $26 to $30, subject to factors such as location, qualifications, and union agreements. Eligible roles may include bonuses, sales incentives, and commission schemes.
