Factory Electrician

Job Overview

Elite Food Industry invites applications from experienced Factory Electricians to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems essential for food manufacturing operations. Candidates should have solid industrial electrical knowledge and skills to support reliable production processes.

Key Duties

• Fit, examine, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, machines, and production apparatus.
• Identify and rectify electrical issues quickly to reduce interruptions in production.
• Carry out both scheduled and unplanned maintenance on electrical devices.
• Interpret complex electrical blueprints, wiring layouts, and schematics accurately.
• Work with and maintain control panels and systems, particularly those with PLC controls.
• Check functionality of motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and other control instruments.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during electrical tasks.
• React swiftly to equipment failures and urgent maintenance needs.
• Keep precise service logs and report malfunctions or failures detected.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to enhance equipment uptime and performance.

Candidate Profile

• Proven background as a Factory Electrician or related role in an industrial setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of industrial electrical installations and control panels.
• Proficient in interpreting electrical plans and schematics.
• Experience handling motors, drives, sensors, and programmable logic controller (PLC) equipment is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
• Able to thrive in dynamic manufacturing conditions.
• Knowledgeable about electrical safety standards and routine preventive maintenance.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must currently reside in Qatar.
• Holder of a valid Qatar ID (QID).
• Possess a valid Qatar driving license.
