Fabricator

Role Overview

The Fabricator will be in charge of ensuring successful project execution by managing all essential resources and materials. Responsibilities encompass inspecting printed materials for defects and quality, vehicle branding, sourcing quality product quotations from suppliers, and overseeing the repair or replacement of damaged advertising materials. This role requires coordination with production and outdoor service teams to deliver products that meet customer specifications punctually.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project operational delivery within set deadlines by organizing necessary resources and materials.
• Inspect printed outputs for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as required.
• Perform vehicle branding duties and coordinate installations for self-adhesive materials, banners, signs, and fabricated signage on various surfaces.
• Source competitive quotations and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor and advise on the repair or replacement of damaged advertising assets.
• Collaborate with designers, production staff, and outdoor service teams to ensure smooth project workflow and timely completion.
• Supervise storage and ensure safety of advertising materials.
• Train and support other installers and team members when necessary.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to suggest effective sales strategies to management.
• Innovate business development and sales approaches to meet budget goals.
• Research and generate new ideas and designs for advertising materials.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a fabricator within a printing press environment.
• Proficient in operating machines including lamination machines, welding machines, and steel bed cutters.
• Knowledge of signage and billboards is advantageous.
• Experience with electrical installations related to signage.
• Minimum high school diploma or relevant technical certification in digital printing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively within a team.
