Job description
Role Overview
The Export Documentation and Accounts Executive will oversee the entire process of export documentation and shipment management, ensuring accurate and timely handling of all related procedures. This role involves preparing and verifying export documents, managing refund claims, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive records to support export activities and accounting compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete export documentation and shipment processes including preparation and verification of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, BL/AWB, and Certificates of Origin.
- Handle filing, amendments, and tracking of Shipping Bills.
- Conduct various activities on ICEGATE portal such as tracking exports and refunds.
- Administer Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, and other export incentives or refund schemes, ensuring timely claims and realization.
- Manage export payment realization through e-BRC and coordinate with banks for smooth transactions.
- Maintain export sales entries, customer ledgers, and perform bank reconciliations using Tally Prime software.
- Coordinate effectively with Customs House Agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, and customers to ensure seamless export shipments.
- Maintain organized records of all export documentation, incentives, refunds, and accounts.
- Generate export-related MIS and reports on outstanding matters.
- Ensure strict compliance with GST, export regulations, and accounting standards relevant to exports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of export documentation and procedures.
- Practical experience with ICEGATE portal for export-related functions.
- Knowledge of the process concerning Shipping Bills and export refunds.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with GST regulations, export payment realization (e-BRC), and bank reconciliation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with various stakeholders in the export process.
