Role Overview
Exyte is recruiting an experienced Planner to contribute to the successful execution of Data Center projects throughout Northern Europe. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in developing project schedules, supervising progress, managing risks, and delivering comprehensive reports to senior leadership. Expertise in 4D planning, specifically with Synchro 4D software, is vital.

Our Data Centers (DTC) division offers end-to-end data center services covering everything from design to construction while emphasizing operational efficiency and reliability. We are renowned for delivering complex projects worldwide including hyperscale, colocation, cloud computing, and advanced intelligence data centers leveraging both traditional and modular construction methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute 4D planning and visualization initiatives for one or multiple Data Center developments.
- Create and maintain integrated 4D models that connect programme schedules (using P6 or Asta) with BIM 3D models.
- Implement and uphold standards for 4D sequencing, model integration, animation deliverables, and digital governance consistent with project and corporate policies.
- Serve as the principal 4D liaison between Planning, BIM, Construction, and Project Controls teams.
- Translate complex construction techniques into coherent and practical 4D simulations encompassing civil, structural, MEP, white space, and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate closely with BIM leads to ensure model accuracy, proper classification, and work package subdivision aligned with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Champion digital planning best practices across Data Center projects.
- Develop reusable 4D planning templates and standardized workflows for campus-style developments.
- Facilitate the integration of 4D outputs with Power BI or other reporting dashboards when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a relevant discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience specifically within Data Center construction projects.
- Professional certification in Project Management or Schedule Management is required.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in Synchro 4D for visual planning and simulation.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience working with BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and IFC workflows.
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing for civil/structural, MEP systems, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to link detailed project schedules to 3D models and perform quantity take-offs using model data.
- Strong familiarity with WBS structures, coding standards, and schedule governance practices.
- Effective communication skills to interface with site personnel, BIM managers, planners, and senior project managers.
