Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and review UB04 claim forms to ensure accurate hospital billing.
• Use coding tools such as CCI and McKesson for validating and refining medical codes.
• Verify claim statuses, eligibility, and coverage by navigating payer websites.
• Handle medical billing in specialties like cardiology, radiology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and surgery.
• Apply CPT coding ranges and modifiers with precision to support billing accuracy.
• Operate Clearing House systems like Waystar and other electronic platforms to submit claims efficiently.
• Engage in voice communications with payers and medical personnel to clarify and resolve billing issues and expedite claim processing.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital billing and accounts receivable calling.
• Working knowledge of UB04 claim forms and other healthcare billing documents.
• Familiarity with medical coding systems (CCI, McKesson).
• Experience using payer websites for claims processing.
• Expertise in multiple medical specialties relevant to billing.
• Acquainted with Clearing House systems such as Waystar.
• Strong communication skills.
• Graduate-level education.
• Prepared to work night shifts.
• Available to join immediately or within 15 days notice period.
