Job description
Overview
We seek a talented and dedicated EV Scooter Mechanic to handle inspection, diagnosis, repair, and upkeep of electric scooters. This role requires ensuring all scooters meet the company's service quality and safety standards, enhancing customer satisfaction through expert service.
Primary Duties
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in electric scooters.
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Examine and repair components such as battery packs, motors, controllers, chargers, and wiring harnesses.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues accurately.
- Replace faulty parts and conduct thorough quality assessments.
- Conduct test rides to confirm successful repairs and consistent vehicle performance.
- Maintain detailed service documentation including job cards and repair reports.
- Adhere strictly to workshop safety policies and specialized high-voltage safety protocols for electric vehicles.
- Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repairs and maintenance guidance.
- Ensure the workshop remains neat, orderly, and safe.
Qualifications and Experience
- ITI or Diploma qualification in Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Between one and three years of experience in servicing two-wheelers or electric vehicles; candidates with fresh EV training are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electric vehicle parts and their electrical systems.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is advantageous.
Compensation
The monthly salary offered ranges from 15000 to 25000 INR.
