About the Role
Join a well-established civil engineering contractor as an Estimator based in Aberdeen. This role offers a starting salary ranging from A375,000 to A390,000 basic, plus bonuses up to A35,000, a car allowance of A36,000, and the use of a company car. The position also offers an opportunity for hybrid working, allowing two days of remote work per week and three days onsite. Immediate start is available.
As part of a growing team, you will collaborate closely with the Bid Manager to build and enhance the estimating department. Your expertise in civil engineering will be vital in tendering for prestigious infrastructure and renewable projects, supporting the company's growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Bid Manager to handle all estimating and tendering activities, occasionally visiting sites as required.
- Regularly engage with clients and project teams to discuss ongoing projects and tender progress.
- Analyze and review technical drawings thoroughly to support accurate bids.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in civil engineering industry.
- Prior experience working as an Estimator or in a similar role.
- Residing in or commuting to the Inverness area.
- Willingness to work from the office two to three days per week.
