Job Overview

This role requires expertise in handling both control and power wiring for packaging machinery. The Electrician will be responsible for interpreting CAD electrical schematics to ensure proper installation and functional integrity of electrical systems. Duties include routing cables, terminating wires, and panel wiring following design specifications, alongside conducting power calculations for components to maintain safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement control and power wiring on packaging equipment according to CAD drawings.
• Interpret electrical schematics to verify correct system installation and connectivity.
• Install, test, and service electrical parts such as relays, contactors, sensors, switches, and drives.
• Perform calculations to verify electrical loads and ensure safe power management.
• Diagnose and fix electrical malfunctions in machinery and control assemblies.
• Maintain organized and accurate cable routing, labeling, and terminations.
• Support machine installations, testing, and ensure continuous electrical system operations during production.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and maintenance personnel to address and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
• Keep the workspace clean, tools properly handled, and equipment well-maintained.
• Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical components.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• ITI certification in Electrician or a comparable credential.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD-based electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical elements including relays, contactors, sensors, drives, and switches.
• Expertise in control and power wiring techniques.
• Ability to perform power load calculations to ensure operational safety.
• Hands-on experience with electrical instruments, testing devices, and panel wiring.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical faults in machinery and control systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety regulations and industrial applications.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision on shop floor duties.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

The position is based in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, with a full-time onsite work requirement. Compensation and Openings

The role offers an annual salary ranging between 240000 and 360000 INR. There are 2 vacancies available for candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
