Electrician

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and certified Electrician to join our Electrical team. The successful candidate will deliver reactive, planned, and project-based electrical maintenance services throughout New Zealand. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance is conducted safely, efficiently, and to high standards. Accurate and timely completion of all required documentation will be essential to support client invoicing. Additionally, you will be responsible for spotting opportunities for extra work, maintaining excellent client relations, and contributing positively to team objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and service duties as assigned.
• Proactively identify and report additional work prospects to clients or management.
• Complete all documentation thoroughly and punctually to facilitate billing processes.
• Comply fully with health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ) policies and legal requirements.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by the manager.

Performance Metrics

• Ensure all tasks are completed safely, promptly, and meet required quality standards.
• Meet established log-on and log-off key performance indicators.
• Submit accurate work records within specified timeframes to support invoicing.
• Identify and communicate potential future work opportunities.
• Maintain high levels of satisfaction among internal teams and external customers.

Skills and Experience

• Possess formal electrical trade qualifications.
• Experience in commercial maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance environments.
• Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, email systems, and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Valid current Electrical Licence.
• Commercial maintenance background.
• Proficient with common office software and mobile technology.
