Job Summary

The E-Commerce Executive within the Everyday Goods division at GMG serves as a key contributor in managing online sales channels. This role focuses on optimizing product listings and aiding the growth of vital e-commerce accounts. Responsibilities include implementing e-commerce strategies, coordinating with marketing and logistics departments, and ensuring maximum online visibility and sales performance for GMG products. This position is instrumental in reinforcing GMG’s digital footprint, enhancing customer interactions, and driving revenue through important e-commerce partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement e-commerce strategies to support GMG's online sales objectives and boost product exposure on digital platforms.
  • Manage product listings by crafting compelling descriptions, optimizing keywords, and maintaining precise pricing, inventory, and availability information.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute digital marketing campaigns, including organizing promotions and seasonal sales to elevate online engagement and sales conversion.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics such as conversion rates, page views, and cart abandonment to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely order processing and resolve issues related to shipping or stock shortages.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key e-commerce partners including online marketplaces and digital retail platforms, securing premium product placements.
  • Support continuous content updates on e-commerce platforms, manage customer feedback, and develop strategies to improve product ratings and reviews.
  • Generate regular performance reports for the Line Manager, offering insights and recommendations to refine e-commerce strategies and meet sales goals.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Comprehensive understanding of e-commerce operations such as digital marketing, product listing management, and enhancing online customer experience.
  • Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools for monitoring sales data, managing inventory, and optimizing content.
  • Strong organizational capabilities for managing multiple e-commerce accounts with meticulous data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams and managing professional relationships with e-commerce partners.
