Role Overview

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, the Driver plays a crucial role in supporting Puratos' growth by efficiently delivering products to customers while upholding company strategies and guidelines. This position involves ensuring accurate and safe deliveries, maintaining good relations with customers, and managing the assigned vehicle in compliance with legal and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute deliveries to customers following the designated route and schedules.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle is regularly cleaned to provide hygienic conditions for transported goods.
• Manage timely renewal of vehicle's legal documentation to comply with relevant laws.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance aligned with safety requirements and company policies.
• Guarantee that delivered goods are in proper condition and correspond to the correct customer and quantity.
• Build and sustain long-term partnerships with assigned customers to support sales growth.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a valid and clean driving license.
• At least four years of experience in commercial driving operations.
• Minimum two years’ experience in FMCG distribution within Nairobi County.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Nairobi’s routes, road networks, and distribution channels.
• Strong awareness of vehicle safety standards, traffic laws, and delivery protocols.
• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and professionalism with high integrity.
• Excellent teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating effectively across departments.
• Customer-oriented mindset combined with solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently to adhere to delivery timelines and operational objectives.
