Opportunity Overview
Join our pharmacy team as a Dispenser, playing a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide efficient and safe pharmacy services. Located in one of our UK stores, primarily Glenrothes, you will contribute to the healthcare department by fostering strong relationships with customers and assisting with prescription management and medication advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions, ensuring safe medicine supply including ordering, labeling, endorsing, and prescription collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to manage and deliver pharmacy services effectively.
- Offer patient care and advice regarding medications, escalating queries to pharmacists when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures to maintain legal and safe dispensing practices.
- Stay informed about new in-store innovations and operational processes.
- Assist patients with managing prescriptions, promoting medicine adherence, reducing waste, and ensuring timely repeat prescriptions.
- Utilize and adapt to emerging in-store technologies to enhance dispensing processes and patient safety, allowing for increased patient interaction time.

Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or currently pursuing MPharm degree with at least the first year completed.
- Valid UK right to work is mandatory; sponsorship under Skilled Worker Visa is not available.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in community pharmacy environments is advantageous.
