Role overview
This position leads Arcera Life Sciences’ efforts across global total rewards, performance management, and people analytics. The role focuses on shaping, rolling out, and refining frameworks that improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business results.
Reporting to the VP People & Culture – Total Rewards & Technology, the director will contribute to major transformation work such as worldwide rewards alignment, job architecture and grading, performance systems, incentive planning, workforce analytics, and HR technology implementation.
Total rewards
- Contribute to the creation, execution, and oversight of global compensation and benefits policies.
- Own compensation comparisons, market reviews, and salary structure assessments across multiple regions.
- Manage the yearly compensation cycle, including pay reviews, bonus/incentive distribution, and rewards governance.
- Support the running and improvement of short-term and long-term incentive programs.
- Help ensure reward programs are fair, competitive, and aligned with company goals.
Performance management
- Lead the rollout and ongoing refinement of performance management processes and frameworks.
- Support objective setting, calibration sessions, performance review cycles, and talent differentiation efforts.
- Create guidance, tools, and manager capability initiatives that strengthen a high-performance culture.
- Track performance results and share insights with leadership.
Organization effectiveness and job architecture
- Support organization design work, workforce planning, and job evaluation activities.
- Maintain the global job architecture, grading structures, and related governance rules.
- Work with HR business partners and business leaders on organization effectiveness initiatives.
People analytics and insights
- Build and maintain dashboards covering workforce and rewards metrics.
- Translate data into actionable insights on workforce trends, performance outcomes, pay effectiveness, and organizational health.
- Support evidence-based decision-making through advanced people analytics and reporting.
Transformation and projects
- Lead or assist strategic HR transformation programs and cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR technology teams on system selection, implementation, and optimization.
- Improve processes and strengthen governance across rewards and performance functions.
Stakeholder management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on rewards, performance, and workforce effectiveness.
- Partner with regional and country HR teams to ensure consistent application of global standards.
- Present recommendations and insights to senior leaders and governance forums.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Psychology, or a similar field is required.
- A master’s degree such as an MBA is preferred.
- Professional credentials in rewards, compensation, job evaluation, HR analytics, or organization design are an advantage.
- You should bring 10–15 years of progressive experience in total rewards, performance management, organization development, or HR.
- Experience with global or multi-country rewards and performance programs is required.
- Background in compensation benchmarking, incentive design, job evaluation, and organizational effectiveness is important.
- A strong history of supporting large-scale HR transformation and change efforts is expected.
- You must be highly analytical and comfortable using HR data, dashboards, and workforce analytics tools.
- Experience in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments is needed.
