Company Overview
DEPT® is an innovative, digitally-born agency, blending advanced technology and marketing expertise. Operating in over 20 countries, it combines global reach with a culture that values individual growth, autonomy, and creative problem-solving.
Role Summary
As the PMO Lead for the Future of Work program, you will architect and drive program operations, overseeing a decentralized team of Project Managers embedded in technical PODs and workstreams. Your leadership will ensure alignment across regions, efficient resource utilization, and tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the Program Management Office from the ground up, defining clear Terms of Reference for diverse workstreams.
- Provide leadership to Project Managers, aligning POD-level executions with global Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Facilitate communication and synchronization among three governing councils: Strategic & Growth, Technical & Innovation, and Risk, Trust & Governance.
- Standardize the T25 client workflow methodology involving six workshops for process mapping and future-state design.
- Design and manage meeting cadences for program kickoffs, status updates, and roadmap reviews to maximize effectiveness.
- Oversee the integration and use of systems such as Asana for project tracking, Jira & Confluence for technical documentation, and Google Workspace including Gemini tools.
- Integrate AI-driven automation to handle tasks like status reporting, risk assessments, and audits, enhancing PMO efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical PODs to deploy AI assistants including Gemini and internal tools to streamline project operations.
- Shift the PMO approach from reactive to proactive by implementing smart workflows for risk mitigation and resource optimization.
Performance Metrics
- Enable delivery of €2.7 million in revenue from T25-related activities by accelerating workstream progress.
- Achieve measurable efficiency improvements across media, creative, and commerce teams through Phase Solutions.
- Ensure milestone adherence, specifically the on-time launch of the Persistent AI Assistant platform and integrations by mid-Q2.
Candidate Profile
You design technology-driven solutions focused on output and impact rather than technology alone. You possess the acumen to make decisive choices in challenging environments and translate sophisticated AI-driven agentic patterns into actionable roadmaps for engineering leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership in managing multifaceted, cross-workstream digital transformation or product development initiatives within global agencies or tech firms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially influencing senior executives across AMER and EMEA regions.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on use of AI technologies including Agentic Orchestration, Large Language Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows.
- Expertise with modern project management platforms including Asana, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace ecosystem tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, capable of merging them into hybrid models suitable for rapid AI development environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: 160000 to 210000 CAD per year.
- 15 paid vacation days annually.
- 10 public holidays plus birthday off.
- Medical, dental, and mental health insurance benefits provided through Canada Life Insurance.
- Support for ongoing learning and professional certifications.
- Enhanced family leave policy after one year of employment.
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
- Employee Buddy Program to assist with onboarding.
