About the Role
This position is within Nestlé Professional's Channel Sales & Coffee Operations, focusing on Out of Home beverage solutions including the brands Starbucks, NESCAFÉ, and Seattle's Best Coffee. The role is field-based across Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Wales with Chester as an ideal base.
As a Direct to Consumer (D2C) Coffee Operations Support, you will contribute to coffee solution growth by ensuring excellent in-store execution at D2C customer sites. Key duties involve maintaining machine uptime, accurate stock management, adherence to brand standards, and operational compliance to boost both customer satisfaction and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain operational efficiency of Nestlé Professional D2C coffee machines with minimal downtime.
- Provide accurate and compliant stock counts at customer locations, investigate variances, track trends, escalate issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Uphold Nestlé Professional brand standards at all D2C locations by responding proactively to audits, feedback, and execution gaps.
- Coach and verify adherence to cleaning routines; monitor for repeated non-compliance and apply interventions as needed.
- Support machine uptime through basic troubleshooting and escalate issues effectively.
- Submit timely and precise field activity reports using Project MORE systems; analyze data to recognize performance patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders impacting or supporting operational delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in sales support or operations roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated with a positive outlook.
- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Capability to operate independently and manage ambiguity while also thriving in team environments.
- Track record of driving consistent performance through others.
- Presentation skills with persuasive influence abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving and planning capabilities with an ability to handle variable workloads and pressure.
- Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the specified geographic area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary starting at £31,000, dependent on experience.
