Role Overview
We are looking for a Diploma-qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Auto Component manufacturing facility in Prithla as an In-Process Quality Control (QC) Engineer. This position requires 0-1 year of experience and involves overseeing quality inspections during production, ensuring adherence to control plans, and facilitating communication between quality and production teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Approve line setups and conduct ongoing inspections throughout the manufacturing process, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Check the effectiveness and proper functioning of Poka-Yoke (error-proofing) systems implemented on the production line.
- Ensure calibration of various gauges and measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Verify that product testing complies with defined control plans to maintain quality standards.
- Lead Red Bin meetings involving quality and production teams to address rejected items and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain daily run chart records to track production and quality metrics.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in a production or quality environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary: INR 15,500 take-home plus Provident Fund, totaling approximately INR 22,500 per month.
- Standard working hours: 8 hours per day.
- Optional overtime opportunities available as needed.
