Role Overview
The Digital Lead role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the entire digital commerce experience of HotTea Mama, including key channels such as Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Amazon, TikTok Shop, and international digital partners. The position reports directly to the founder and focuses on expanding commercial performance, increasing revenue, improving customer lifetime value, and orchestrating a scalable digital ecosystem to drive the next growth phase.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and improve DTC and Shopify platform performance.
- Enhance Amazon sales and coordinate agency partnerships.
- Lead TikTok Shop and social commerce initiatives.
- Provide commercial leadership with detailed reporting and analytics.
- Manage the transition of the company’s domain after re-branding, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Develop and optimize product and category pages for the new domain on all relevant platforms focusing on SEO and customer journey.
- Collaborate with Health and Wellness Professional Manager on website content and redirects.
- Own day-to-day digital trading activities to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Plan and execute digital trading calendars accommodating launches, promotions, and seasonality.
- Optimize website merchandising, landing pages, conversion rates, and overall customer experience.
- Work with marketing and development teams on product page creation and conversion strategies.
- Test and refine promotional offers to maximize sales and margins.
- Manage paid acquisition strategies across paid social, affiliate, and other media channels.
- Supervise Amazon advertising including CAC and marketing efficiency ratios.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align e-commerce and brand marketing efforts.
- Lead conversion rate optimization initiatives using data analysis and A/B testing.
- Oversee development projects related to Shopify enhancements and customer journey improvements.
- Use research and analytics to understand customer behavior and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage CRM and lifecycle marketing programs focusing on customer retention and engagement.
- Develop loyalty programs, subscriptions, and referral initiatives that drive repeat business and lifetime value growth.
- Produce comprehensive performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain accurate tracking and attribution across platforms to monitor effectiveness.
- Partner with international distribution teams to grow digital sales and maintain brand consistency globally.
- Create and maintain digital asset management systems for creative and marketing materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer sales, or consumer brand growth.
- Experience in women’s health, beauty, wellness, FMCG, or related consumer brand industries.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven record of revenue growth rather than just campaign management.
- Hands-on experience managing paid digital channels and agencies, particularly Amazon, Meta, and TikTok advertising.
- Proficiency with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and TikTok Seller platforms and understanding of key performance drivers including conversion rates, retention, average order value, and customer acquisition.
- Comfortable using metrics such as CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, and retention rates to guide strategic decisions.
- Experience leading website optimization, CRO projects or customer journey improvements with measurable success.
- Practical knowledge of CRM tools and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Open to flexible working arrangements including part-time schedules for the right candidate.
