Development Contributions Coordinator

Role Overview

Join MidCoast Council's Land Use Planning team in a pivotal 5-year fixed-term full-time position as a Development Contributions Coordinator. This role is integral to facilitating infrastructure development that serves community needs by managing contribution plans effectively.

Key Duties

• Develop, review, and manage contribution plans that align with the Council’s strategic objectives.
• Provide oversight on financial aspects, ensuring meticulous monitoring of collection and utilization of contributions.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and prepare accurate reporting on related activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and influence stakeholders to drive successful infrastructure delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualifications in project management, commerce, asset accounting, or a related discipline; alternatively, equivalent experience within local government.
• Strong attention to detail accompanied by financial, administrative, and analytical expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills capable of stakeholder engagement and navigating complex legislative frameworks.

Employment Details

This position is based at the Administration Centre, Yalawanyi Ganya, 2 Biripi Way, Taree, with occasional requirements to work at other sites within the MidCoast Council region. The position entails 35 hours per week.

Compensation

Salary ranges from 113094 to 125818 annually, plus superannuation, with negotiable terms depending on skills and experience.
