About the Role
Join the Therapies Directorate at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust in a crucial role dedicated to supporting clinical, administrative, and leadership teams by leveraging clinical systems and data analysis. This position involves promoting best practices in system usage, conducting audits, and providing insightful information for performance evaluation and business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Heads of Service, Clinical and Operational Service Leads, and Clinical Team Leaders to discuss demand and capacity, ensuring efficient resource utilization and productivity within the Therapies Directorate.
- Collaborate closely with therapy staff to enhance clinical systems for better productivity and efficiency, identifying data needs that support service improvements and quality initiatives.
- Audit compliance with standard operating procedures related to system use and data quality, working with departments to explore opportunities for enhancing data input accuracy.
- Extract and interpret data from various systems to support the diverse services within the Therapies Directorate.
- Produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly reports in multiple formats to assist in delivering key performance and business objectives.
- Create service-specific procedures and training resources aligned with Directorate EMIS and Access SOPs.
- Operate within the Business and Improvement Hub to provide comprehensive support across all therapies services.
Candidate Profile and Skills
Ideal candidates will demonstrate advanced skills in Excel and experience with data analysis and presentation. A strong commitment to data quality that enhances patient care is essential.
