Cyber Security Manager

Overview

Orcapod Consulting Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead and oversee cyber security functions, including Security Operations Center (SOC), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Security Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Cyber Security teams in SOC, GRC, and Security Engineering domains.
• Supervise Security Operations such as Incident Detection, Incident Response, and SIEM monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements following frameworks such as HIPAA and HITRUST, and manage mandatory service delivery standards.
• Lead governance and risk management initiatives including audits, risk assessments, and the development of security policies.
• Support security engineering efforts like the deployment of security tools, implementation of controls, and automation initiatives.
• Manage team performance through effective workforce planning, coaching, and communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure that cyber security projects are delivered punctually while maintaining SLAs and operational standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 to 12 years of professional experience in Cyber Security.
• 3 to 5 years managing teams of 5 to 10 members.
• Proficiency in SOC Operations, including Incident Detection, Incident Response, and SIEM monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Mandatory expertise in HIPAA and HITRUST compliance.
• Strong understanding of Security Engineering principles including security tools, controls, and automation methods.
• Experience in working within a matrix organizational structure is preferred.

Work Details

• Shift timing is from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
• Work location is Hyderabad with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office; relocation is generally not provided unless for valid reasons.
