Cyber Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

Our client is currently looking for a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join their Security Operations team in New York, NY. This contract position involves conducting in-depth research, analysis, and delivery of actionable intelligence pertaining to cyber threats, threat actors, vulnerabilities, and malicious activities. The role requires expertise in leveraging both open-source and commercial intelligence platforms to support the organization's cyber defense operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor, investigate, and analyze cyber threats, actors, known vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
• Use various open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and commercial intelligence solutions to extract valuable, actionable insights.
• Apply established cyber threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies, for example, MITRE ATT&CK and intelligence lifecycle processes, to evaluate and report on security threats effectively.
• Work closely with the Security Operations team to detect, track, and respond to emerging cyber threats on a global scale.
• Prepare clear, concise intelligence briefings and reports aimed at both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven professional experience in cybersecurity roles centered on threat intelligence, research, or analysis.
• Working familiarity with cyber threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and analytical techniques related to intelligence gathering.
• Outstanding analytical capabilities, strong research aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work both proactively and collaboratively in a team-driven environment.

Compensation and Work Details

This is a contract role based onsite in New York, NY, offering a starting pay rate of $50 per hour.
