Role overview
Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is looking for a Customer Support Administrator to join its Dublin 15 office in Ireland. CEC supplies products and solutions to customers working in highly controlled and clean environments. In this role, you will help maintain service standards and provide day-to-day support to both domestic and international customers.
What you will do
- Build strong working relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Handle customer purchase orders and respond to enquiries through phone and email.
- Oversee and manage incoming customer questions and requests via phone and email.
- Support business growth by identifying upsell opportunities and helping increase sales.
- Explain the technical advantages and value of the company’s products to customers.
- Partner with external, client-facing team members to deliver a consistently high level of service.
- Identify customer concerns or recurring issues, document them accurately, and escalate them through the correct channels when needed.
- Keep product knowledge and customer offering information up to date.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed.
Experience and skills expected
- Prior experience in a similar role or within a related industry.
- A strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- Exposure to multinational businesses is preferred.
- Ability to understand customer needs and ensure satisfaction with every interaction.
- Confidence in discussing product features and benefits.
- Solid communication, organisation, and administrative skills.
- Open-minded and willing to adopt new ideas and initiatives.
- A flexible, proactive approach to work.
- Ability to spot potential problems early and take initiative in resolving them.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with an ERP platform such as SAP would be an advantage.
