Role overview
This position is for a proactive Software Sales Representative who will handle sales, implementation, and partner management responsibilities for a specific country. The role is a mix of selling software, overseeing projects, and building strong relationships with channel partners, with the goal of growing revenue and supporting successful rollouts in the region.
Sales and business development
- Own the full sales cycle within the assigned market, from prospecting through to deal closure.
- Assess inbound and outbound enquiries to judge whether they are a good fit and worth pursuing.
- Deliver product demonstrations that are adapted to the customer’s needs and business scenarios.
- Collect both commercial and technical inputs to shape suitable solution proposals.
- Create quotations, handle pricing conversations, and stay on top of follow-ups needed to win business.
- Prepare sales orders and make sure all documentation and process steps are completed correctly.
- Represent the company at face-to-face events such as conferences, trade shows, and user group meetings across the region.
Project management
- Oversee software implementation projects from initiation through final delivery.
- Act as the main customer contact throughout the implementation phase.
- Work closely with internal development teams so the final deliverables align with customer expectations.
- Set up project timelines, milestone plans, meetings, and review checkpoints.
- Track risks, schedules, and scope to help ensure smooth deployment and strong user adoption.
Partner relationship management
- Preserve and strengthen relationships with current partners and resellers in the region.
- Visit partners onsite to provide product training, education, and joint planning support.
- Assist partner sales teams during customer interactions and throughout the sales process.
- Identify promising new partners and help expand the channel network and market coverage.
